  1. I guess that sums up the cycles and what must be mixed feelings on a farm pretty well Crow. Will you have more pigs in the Spring?

    Keep warm buddy.X

  2. Watching your experiences with your animals on the farm has made me rethink my food choices. I frequently remember an older post of yours [must have been around the time of Slingblade]and remind myself that there is no Chicken Nugget farm. More eggs, more cheese and less meat.If I had to 'do the deed' there'd be no hesitation to eliminate flesh entirely.
You really do make us better people :-)

  3. Hey Chris, perhaps we will. Each time we think that this one will be the last, then the meat comes, some time, and our land has chance to heal. In Spring, the old farmer down the road, puts up his hand painted sign. "Pigs for Sale" and we usually can't resist. :-)

Dazey, I will trade you some Gaga meat for some big-brown-eye meat. ;-) That way we know it has been raised well, and we can keep our hands clean. Or the whole cheese diet sounds good... add bread and wine and some salad and I would be happy. Real happy. :-)
